We finally heard from Jacob today! June 17

We after almost a week i finally heard from Jacob. He has been at Fort Picket (somewhere in VA) training in the woods for the last week and we had not heard from him since the 11th. He said he has been doing well. They have been doing lots of field exercises and training. He seemed really excited for me to tell Isaiah that he rode in a helicopter during one of their training exercises. Isaiah is always asking him...Did you drive a army truck? Did you shoot anything like a groundhog?. Needless to say Isaiah thinks his Dad is the coolest:) He said they will stay at Fort Pickett till Sunday and then head back to AP Hill and stay there till next Fri. From Monday to Wednesday they will be doing something that Jacob said souned like alot of fun but the phone was fading in and out so i wasn't able to hear exactly what they will be doing. For Jacob to think it will be fun it has to involve blowing something up..I am guessing:) Well, I hope everyone is doing well. Luke and Sara, I just wanted to tell you how great the last few pictures of Miriam and you all have been. Miriam is just adorable. Have a great weekend! Dawn
