A 24TH Birthday for Julia !

Pop Amy and I were so happy to have Julia,Derek and Petrie here for the past couple of days. They both are enjoying a week off from their jobs and made us feel so special by spending some of that with us. We celebrated Julias birthday on Sunday with a party. Luke, Sara, Virginia and Miriam came for the day also. It was a good time. It would have been extra special if Justin and family and Jacob and family could have been here also! We also missed Paula not being with us.
In spite of that we had a wonderful time. We ate and then we ate some more and oh yes did I mention we had watermelon in the backyard? In between all of the eating we went for a walk on a trail near here. Julias dog,Petrie and Amys dog Sadie went along. A stream followed the path and provided a cooling off for Julia, Amy, Sara, Virginia and Miriam and also the dogs. It was so wonderful having a housefull even if it was for just a couple days. It has been so quiet and a bit lonely at times in this new town!
